The Hipster

The hipster had a big white ghetto sled
He dropped Grandma off once
A while ago.
I was busy working problems.

I told him thank you
And she gave him five dollars
And he smiled at me through his long hair
And lit up a cigarette.

When he pulled out of the driveway
I remembered him in a Tesla shirt
One of the rockers at High School
And how I’d never known him
To do anything in particular.
